Monitory for Mac sits in the menu bar of the machine running your show. When the app dies, the screen goes black instead of showing the desktop, the app comes straight back, and you get told.

What the audience never sees.

Monitory checks your apps every second. When one disappears, it covers every display in black before the desktop can show, hides anything else that popped up, and relaunches the app.

If an app keeps crashing, five times inside a minute, Monitory stops relaunching it and tells you it gave up, instead of flashing it on and off all night.

Build a launch sequence once: apps, shell commands, AppleScript, waits. Start it by hand, or when the Mac boots. Every app in the sequence is watched and restarted on its own.

A black window behind your app on every connected display, even when you plug in another screen.

Hide other apps

Anything that isn't part of your show gets hidden, including apps that open later.

Hide the menu bar

Turns on macOS menu bar auto-hide while the show runs, and puts it back afterwards, even after a power cut.

Monitory opens when the Mac logs in and can start your sequence straight away.

An optional launch agent that reopens Monitory itself if it ever quits.

Sign in with a pairing code, pick the project and device, and choose which events to send: start, crash, restart, or gave up. They land on your Monitory dashboard and reach you by email, SMS, WhatsApp or Telegram.

You can also send events to any other URL. If the network drops, events wait on disk and keep retrying for about 17 minutes.
